This Spring's series of four workshops focus on a diverse range of polymathic practices. Each one a unique synthesis of history, science, art, technology, and culture.
Students of all majors welcome.

An exploration of a fraught term and its practice in industry. Attendees will learn the benefits, hidden traps, and possibilities of “gamification” through a hands-on exercise.
Explore the ancient and evolving practice of tattoo. We’ll cover some history and get familiar with modern technologies through a demonstration on silicone skin. Attendees will get to print stencils of their own designs and may apply them as temporary tattoos.
Explore the wearable fractals, gorgeous geometric patterns, and intricate lattices that can take shape through the art of crochet. Attendees will be provided crochet hooks and yarn as they are guided through introductory exercises.
