When I Think of Home: Images from L.A. Archives celebrates the 25th anniversary of L.A. as Subject, a research alliance dedicated to preserving and improving access to the archival material of Los Angeles history. A collaborative effort of the L.A. as Subject community, the exhibit gathers together archival materials from almost fifty L.A. as Subject members, all relating to ideas of “home”.

LA as Subject: 25 years of Highlighting Southern California Archives was developed through a collaboration between USC Libraries and L.A. as Subject with support from the Ahmanson Lab and authored primarily by Alexandra Hontalas-Adams. Through rare visual materials and interviews with key participants, a new digital exhibit honors LA as Subject's twenty-five-year history of preserving, archiving, and sharing the culture and history of the Los Angeles region.

A Case of Hysteria was developed in collaboration with Anne-Marie Maxwell and Tyson Gaskill of USC Libraries and brings together cross-disciplinary collections from the California Social Welfare Archives, Lila Berman papers, the Norris Medical Library. The exhibit explores women’s mental healthcare in California and beyond.

Unpinning History: Japanese Posters in the Age of Commercialism, Imperialism, and Modernism was developed by Rebecca Corbett, Anne-Marie Maxwell, Tyson Gaskill, and Ahmanson Lab staff in collaboration with with USC Dornsife's Rika Hiro and her Art History students. Hiro and students in her Later Japanese Art course (Spring 2020) curated the materials from EAL collections, focusing on the Taishō (1912-1926) and Shōwa (1926-1989) periods.

The Space Age Hits The Road: Visionary Car Designs in America originated as an exhibition of the same name, held in Doheny Memorial Library in spring 2010 and curated by Tyson Gaskill and Andrew Wulf. This digital edition of the exhibition was created by Anne-Marie Maxwell and Ahmanson Lab staff.
