Crowdsourced scientific efforts can often give scientists more data and computing power for novel approaches to their fields. After learning about a few citizen science projects, students will assemble and program a small credit card sized computer that logs temperature and humidity.

Assistant Director

Samir Ghosh is the Assistant Director of the Ahmanson Lab. They teach workshops and build projects that span VR/XR and hardware prototyping. They hold degrees in Computational Linguistics and Cognitive Science.
