Objects of Knowledge III

Fall 2013
Objects of Knowledge III

This third season of a series of conversations examines the diverse ways that images and things interact, embody and generate ways of knowing, which guide the course of human action and understanding and engender creativity and innovation.

Advanced graduate students are invited to give a half hour presentation of their research, followed by a faculty member respondent who will comment on their paper and enter into dialogue with them.  The discussion then opens up to the larger group, which will look specifically at questions of visual culture and evidence from a polymathic perspective.
