The Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Institute for Humanities, is hosting an all day workshop celebrating the 100th anniversary of the publication of Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. Einstein’s work expands beyond the realms of science and is present in the visual arts, literature, and throughout the general culture.  Throughout the day in workshops, discussions, and creative activities, experts from various disciplines and professions who integrate General Relativity into their work will join a select group of students to explore the theory’s multiple meanings, applications, and possibilities for future inquiry.  Students from the Academy and LAIH Fellows and guests are invited to participate.

Please note: The RSVP is for the LAIH/Harman Academy Luncheon only.  All other sessions throughout the day are open and do not require registration.
