Movie Night at the Ahmanson Lab

Once a month, the Ahmanson Lab community comes together to watch an hour-long portion of a film, typically a documentary, that explores the social implications of developing technologies. On our current roster for 2020-2021 are films such as The Social DilemmaIn the Age of AIAlphaGo, and The Great Hack. Feel free to suggest films for our roster, here.

We stream these films over Zoom where we discuss via Chat throughout the movie. We also stop midway through the film and at the end to to talk in more detail.

Our next Movie Night of the semester will be on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00pm where we'll screen and discuss the VPRO Documentary, Shoshana Zuboff On Surveillance Capitalism.
